An unexpectedly hard shot by Harold Dheedene in the 7th minute of play forced Buksvinens IF's goalkeeper Jörgen Haegg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marten de Nijs hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute Lars Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manu Gyselinx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christian Mangelschot during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to KFC Paal-Tervant getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Christian Mangelschot hit a great ball. Jörgen Haegg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philip Vandamme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harold Dheedene's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jörgen Haegg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After 22 played minutes KFC Paal-Tervant got a freekick which was hit by Philip Vandamme. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Nilsson in the 26th minute of play forced KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Manu Gyselinx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manu Gyselinx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Gummeson, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After a rather tough play, Buksvinens IF's Villiam Lindkvist got a free kick in the 34th minute. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Harold Dheedene put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jörgen Haegg. A collision led to KFC Paal-Tervant getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Marten de Nijs hit a great ball. Manu Gyselinx acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 43rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Bengt-Arne Fransson. Jörgen Haegg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harold Dheedene, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, KFC Paal-Tervant's Manu Gyselinx got control of the ball when Sonny Friberger tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

53 minutes into the match, Lars Nilsson notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of KFC Paal-Tervant's Manu Gyselinx. Manu Gyselinx was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The KFC Paal-Tervant fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when KFC Paal-Tervant's Harold Dheedene looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 60 minutes into the game, Lars Nilsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Manu Gyselinx was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Harold Dheedene managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Paal-Tervant's supporters rose to their feet, but Harold Dheedene was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jörgen Haegg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobias Geeraerts got free with Jörgen Haegg in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Buksvinens IF defense, Harold Dheedene kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jörgen Haegg. The Buksvinens IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jörgen Haegg should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Buksvinens IF booed when KFC Paal-Tervant was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Laureijs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manu Gyselinx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sonny Friberger, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Fritz Hultin kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Lars Nilsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manu Gyselinx. KFC Paal-Tervant's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lars Nilsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. KFC Paal-Tervant played a much better game than Buksvinens IF and deserved their victory. The Buksvinens IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
