In the 14thth minute of the game Ali Hamza Hanefi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Independiente's Chiquito Martinez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Flavio Laurgain dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stasio Gozdowski, 1-0. After some careless play in the Independiente defense, Marian Sobania kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chiquito Martinez. The Independiente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chiquito Martinez should have stopped the shot. Chiquito Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Hamza Hanefi in the 31st minute of play. Independiente's Chiquito Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Hamza Hanefi in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Hamza Hanefi in the 35th minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Chiquito Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Ignacy Dunajski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquito Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Hamza Hanefi came free, but Chiquito Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Flavio Laurgain could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Stasio Gozdowski however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacy Dunajski in the 45th minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Chiquito Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by KANONIERZY's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Napoleon Dropinski was slow to take the kick. During this time Independiente's players had a chance to rest. Independiente's Sören Bengtsson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Stasio Gozdowski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ali Hamza Hanefi made a kick off. Chiquito Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Hamza Hanefi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chiquito Martinez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Hamza Hanefi's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Independiente's goalkeeper Chiquito Martinez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Hamza Hanefi. The supporters of Independiente booed when KANONIERZY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Hamza Hanefi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sören Bengtsson struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Stasio Gozdowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independiente. Stasio Gozdowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorg Pieters in the 84th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Chiquito Martinez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of KANONIERZY booed when Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorg Pieters didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
