Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Otsoko Balmaceda scored to the left of an out of position Panait Hațegan, making the score, 1-0. Gwidon Dubilas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Codruț Ferenț, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Panait Hațegan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Tractorul Satulung -MM- from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Otsoko Balmaceda in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Panait Hațegan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th match minute, Lech Max was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Rogel to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Lech Max's goal looked a bit too open when Mădălin Cangeopol came free, but Gwidon Dubilas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Norbert Kolacki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Panait Hațegan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Heintje Gamarra hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goalkeeper Panait Hațegan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norbert Kolacki. In the 45th minute, Lech Max's Otsoko Balmaceda dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrian Mutu made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Otsoko Balmaceda in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Panait Hațegan saved Tractorul Satulung -MM- from getting behind. In the 54th minute Lech Max were awarded a corner. Nestor Rogel went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Lech Max's Nestor Rogel to fire away a dangerous shot which Panait Hațegan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mădălin Cangeopol in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gwidon Dubilas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Panait Hațegan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Kolacki in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Kolacki came free, but Panait Hațegan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 69 minutes on the clock, Samuel Hall commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Tractorul Satulung -MM-:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lech Max:s goal. In the 70th minute there was a penalty for Lech Max. Otsoko Balmaceda stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Panait Hațegan. 3-1. After some careless play in the Tractorul Satulung -MM- defense, Otsoko Balmaceda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Panait Hațegan. The Tractorul Satulung -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Panait Hațegan should have stopped the shot. Panait Hațegan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Kolacki, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute.
