Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vasile Blănaru took the kick off in the first half of the match. With an all-out effort, Progresul Pitesti's Saul Erauso threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Karol Czempa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vasile Blănaru came free with the goalkeeper in the 7th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Saul Erauso could save by the left post. Progresul Pitesti's Martin Tudor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marteinn Palermo in the 11th minute of play. The nice shot from Vasile Blănaru in the 13thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Saul Erauso had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Vasile Blănaru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Saul Erauso made a huge save. After 16 minutes Atlético Unión Florida's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Florin Logofătu who took care of the corner kick. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Vasile Blănaru took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Saul Erauso to make any attempt to save it. In the 25th minute Florin Logofătu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Erauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venancio Musko scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martin Tudor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Musko in the 31st minute of play forced Progresul Pitesti's goalkeeper Martin Tudor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chorache Tofiño got free with Saul Erauso in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlético Unión Florida's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Florin Logofătu was slow to take the kick. During this time Progresul Pitesti's players had a chance to rest. Florin Logofătu made a great header on Progresul Pitesti's corner, it was just that Atlético Unión Florida's Saul Erauso managed to reach the ball for a save. Saul Erauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chorache Tofiño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saul Erauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chorache Tofiño, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Atlético Unión Florida's Saul Erauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Czempa in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marteinn Palermo was the one to do the kick off. Martin Tudor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marteinn Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Progresul Pitesti's goal looked a bit too open when Marteinn Palermo came free, but Martin Tudor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atlético Unión Florida's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Saverio Atarratze in the 56th minute. Marteinn Palermo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If Venancio Musko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Tudor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krystian Żmuda in the 75th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Atlético Unión Florida's Narciso Rufo got a free kick in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasile Blănaru in the 77th minute of play forced Atlético Unión Florida's goalkeeper Saul Erauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Progresul Pitesti were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Atlético Unión Florida's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Florin Logofătu took the corner. After a defensive mix-up in Progresul Pitesti's zone, Venancio Musko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Tudor came out of the goal and Venancio Musko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chorache Tofiño in the 85th minute of play forced Atlético Unión Florida's goalkeeper Saul Erauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Narciso Rufo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Tudor was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Martin Tudor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krystian Żmuda, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 96 minutes into the match, Krystian Żmuda notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Progresul Pitesti's Martin Tudor. Martin Tudor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Atlético Unión Florida supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Atlético Unión Florida would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
