Rolando Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Arvid Bremming tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stor Banan in the 5th minute of play forced Real Madrid de Guatemala's goalkeeper Shawn Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Wilmer Gutierrez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Madrid de Guatemala's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sacri the free kick. After a rather tough play, Real Madrid de Guatemala's Wilmer Gutierrez got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Olov Berg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernst Dahlberg hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Arvid Bremming didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rolando Ortiz went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Zelvin Díaz charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zelvin Díaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zelvin Díaz kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Sacri's Max Sandström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Shawn Cruz. That made the score 2-1 after 39 minutes of play. If Adolfo Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th match minute, Sacri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by August Mattsson to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Pimentel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Benjamín Medrano charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benjamín Medrano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Karl-Axel Olsman kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Arvid Bremming showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Jimenez in the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Sacri's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Pimentel came free, but Arvid Bremming reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Real Madrid de Guatemala's Adolfo Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Shawn Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Axel Olsman in the 70th minute of play. After 73 played minutes Sacri got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Åke Lindell. The supporters of Sacri booed when Real Madrid de Guatemala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Ortiz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Arvid Bremming when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Sacri getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Nils-Åke Lindell hit a great ball. In the 79th minute of the match Benjamín Medrano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arvid Bremming showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Arvid Bremming showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by August Mattsson during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 82 minutes into the game, one of Sacri:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 86 minutes into the match, Real Madrid de Guatemala's Rolando Ortiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arvid Bremming narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Real Madrid de Guatemala's Jorge Pimentel in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sacri's goalie prevented a goal. Karl-Axel Olsman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Rolando Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Sacri's Arvid Bremming got control of the ball when Rolando Ortiz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Real Madrid de Guatemala eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
