Lars Hasselqvist hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Pogoń Staszów's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Wästerberg came free, but Tobiasz Debkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Waldemar Siwek to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match was over Aero Björndalen could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pogoń Staszów throughout the match.
