Youth Academy Of Rhye's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SV Wissenkerke the free kick. After a rather tough play, Youth Academy Of Rhye's Sven-Olof Kellman got a free kick in the 5th minute. Youth Academy Of Rhye's Tomas Björk got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 16 played minutes Youth Academy Of Rhye got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Olof Kellman. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Arnold van Herwijnen managed to get in a good position for a shot. SV Wissenkerke's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnold van Herwijnen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulf Holm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Youth Academy Of Rhye's Edmund Ek got a free kick in the 19th minute. The supporters of Youth Academy Of Rhye booed when SV Wissenkerke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stef Mol didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Björk got free with Kenneth van der Leegte in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnold van Herwijnen took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulf Holm. Ulf Holm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnold van Herwijnen in the 39th minute of play forced Youth Academy Of Rhye's goalkeeper Ulf Holm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnold van Herwijnen to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Hans Oude Kamphuis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Wissenkerke's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Oude Kamphuis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Tomas Björk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kenneth van der Leegte. The audience was convinced that Arnold van Herwijnen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulf Holm was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Arnold van Herwijnen did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-3 to the left of a surprised Ulf Holm 68 minutes into the match. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Youth Academy Of Rhye's Ulf Holm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnold van Herwijnen in the 78th minute of play. Tomas Björk's late challenge caught a SV Wissenkerke's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Björk helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th minute, Tomas Björk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 played minutes Youth Academy Of Rhye got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Ek. Arvin Eriksson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kenneth van der Leegte having to make a save. SV Wissenkerke's Kenneth van der Leegte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Björk in the 94th minute of play.
