Lucjan Patrylo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Pretoria Gostyń's goalkeeper Tomasz Dziedelonis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Borys Dulka. The supporters of Pretoria Gostyń booed when Thunderstorm Riders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbyszko Budacz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michal Dynda kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Thunderstorm Riders's Olgierd Karp got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Tomasz Dziedelonis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoni Przybylo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After some careless play in the Pretoria Gostyń defense, Leonard Pochorylo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomasz Dziedelonis. The Pretoria Gostyń fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomasz Dziedelonis should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd minute, Pretoria Gostyń's Leon Grondzki ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Miguel do Vale. Miguel do Vale yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. 69 minutes into the match, Pretoria Gostyń's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszko Budacz came free, but Tomasz Dziedelonis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomasz Dziedelonis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olgierd Karp went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Thunderstorm Riders's Wlodzimierz Pilarczyk was substituted for Antoni Przybylo. Thunderstorm Riders's Cyryl Skaradoski was substituted for Zbyszko Budacz. Pretoria Gostyń's Tomasz Dziedelonis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borys Dulka in the 77th minute of play. Tomasz Dziedelonis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borys Dulka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michal Dynda hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After 82 minutes, Leonard Pochorylo made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Pretoria Gostyń's Tomasz Dziedelonis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 86 minutes into the game, Thunderstorm Riders's Olgierd Karp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomasz Dziedelonis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Pretoria Gostyń's Tomasz Dziedelonis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borys Dulka in the 91st minute of play. Tomasz Dziedelonis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Borys Dulka in the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Leonard Pochorylo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomasz Dziedelonis. Pretoria Gostyń's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonard Pochorylo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. When the referee ended the match the Thunderstorm Riders players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
