If Julian Oliszewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonard Backlund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrzej Markowski in the 20th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Julian Oliszewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonard Backlund. Rosendahl Flyers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Oliszewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Red Devils's Waclaw Wieczorek slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leonard Backlund. That made the score 4-0 after 34 minutes of play. In the 37th minute Olgierd Dziuma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Backlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Rosendahl Flyers's Leonard Backlund got control of the ball when Andrzej Markowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Red Devils's Andrzej Markowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonard Backlund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The Red Devils fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. In the 71st minute, Andrzej Markowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonard Backlund was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Leonard Backlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Markowski in the 75th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrzej Markowski in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonard Backlund saved Rosendahl Flyers from getting behind. Red Devils walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
