The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronan McCunn got free with Astor Odon in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 11 minutes into the match, The Huns's goal looked a bit too open when Saulvedis Šūpelis came free, but Vintilă Murgu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Everardo Milian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vintilă Murgu was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. A collision led to The Huns getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ronan McCunn hit a great ball. In the 20th minute of the match The Huns got a corner. Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nicholas Ramachandran ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vintilă Murgu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saulvedis Šūpelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's Astor Odon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ from getting a goal against them. Vintilă Murgu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Santana in the 31st minute of play. In the 31st minute, Ronan McCunn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, The Huns's Ronan McCunn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Astor Odon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, The Huns's goal looked a bit too open when Saulvedis Šūpelis came free, but Vintilă Murgu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Everardo Milian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's goalkeeper Astor Odon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Ronan McCunn managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Huns's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronan McCunn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Astor Odon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Huns's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alexandre Santana was slow to take the kick. During this time Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Everardo Milian almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The Huns's Vintilă Murgu did a great save. With a little luck, The Huns's Vintilă Murgu got control of the ball when Everardo Milian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vintilă Murgu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Milian in the 67th minute of play. Astor Odon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Ţîrlea, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After 69 minutes of play, The Huns's Ronan McCunn made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Astor Odon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ made a substitution. Filomeno Mendebal replaced Saulvedis Šūpelis. If Ronan McCunn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for The Huns.
