After having played for 10 minutes, Arnold van Herwijnen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Wissenkerke's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnold van Herwijnen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Walter Jönsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnold van Herwijnen's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Björn Jonasson took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kenneth van der Leegte. Kenneth van der Leegte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. A collision led to Ralles Bollklubb getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Bo Eckegren hit a great ball. In the 42ndth minute of the game Arnold van Herwijnen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ralles Bollklubb's Walter Jönsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kenneth van der Leegte made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Björn Jonasson sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Arnold van Herwijnen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Walter Jönsson was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Ralles Bollklubb's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
