Ismael Negri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 6 minutes into the match, Laurgain Ruiz notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of GALACTICOS's Esteban Dreer. Esteban Dreer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 9 minutes into the match, Elco Vid dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ismael Negri, 2-1. Ismael Negri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Noel Hägele in the 12th minute. Noel Hägele succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 14th playminute. Ismael Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elco Vid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Noel Hägele in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Negri saved MAZER SAF from getting behind. Esteban Dreer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurgain Ruiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26thth minute of the game Evaristo Castro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GALACTICOS's Esteban Dreer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner led MAZER SAF's Augusto Sein to fire away a dangerous shot which Esteban Dreer despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ismael Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elco Vid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteban Dreer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Castro in the 32nd minute of the match. GALACTICOS were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after MAZER SAF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Elco Vid took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Alessandro Nesta heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Sein in the 39th minute of play forced GALACTICOS's goalkeeper Esteban Dreer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elco Vid in the 45th minute of play forced MAZER SAF's goalkeeper Ismael Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Noel Hägele to strike the kick off in the second half. Noel Hägele struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Ismael Negri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GALACTICOS. 60 minutes into the match, MAZER SAF's goal looked a bit too open when Noel Hägele came free, but Ismael Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Laurgain Ruiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esteban Dreer was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. 67 minutes in the game, Jorginho Mello fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Esteban Dreer having to interfere. Esteban Dreer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute MAZER SAF were awarded a corner. Augusto Sein went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on MAZER SAF's corner Augusto Sein fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Esteban Dreer quite easily take care of the ball. Ismael Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elco Vid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Murillo Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Esteban Dreer made a huge save. When Claudinho Montenegro fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MAZER SAF's protests and gave Claudinho Montenegro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to MAZER SAF getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Claudinho Montenegro hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, MAZER SAF's Yuri Alberto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteban Dreer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Simão das Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. MAZER SAF's Ismael Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Hägele in the 81st minute of play. The supporters of GALACTICOS booed when MAZER SAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão das Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute of the match Elco Vid sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ismael Negri skillfully saved the ball. In the 85th minute Noel Hägele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th match minute, GALACTICOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erk Hong to maneuver through the defense. GALACTICOS's Esteban Dreer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Castro in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute of the match, Yuri Alberto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Esteban Dreer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thomas Hellbom was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of MAZER SAF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of GALACTICOS:s goal. In the 93rd minute, Elco Vid made a precise shot to the right of Ismael Negri. MAZER SAF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Murillo Lima got free with Esteban Dreer in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murillo Lima in the 98th minute of play forced GALACTICOS's goalkeeper Esteban Dreer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MAZER SAF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
