MAZER SAF's Ismael Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Hägele in the 17th minute of play. Andrés Hong hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. GALACTICOS's Esteban Dreer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurgain Ruiz in the 27th minute of play. The corner led GALACTICOS's Alfredo Palos to fire away a dangerous shot which Ismael Negri despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Noel Hägele's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ismael Negri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 41st minute of the game Thomas Hellbom made a throw-in which Augusto Sein played forward. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 50 played minutes GALACTICOS got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Obuchowicz. Esteban Dreer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laurgain Ruiz's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. 59 minutes into the match, GALACTICOS's goal looked a bit too open when Laurgain Ruiz came free, but Esteban Dreer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute Noel Hägele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evaristo Castro got free with Esteban Dreer in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Esteban Dreer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuri Alberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yuri Alberto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esteban Dreer having to make a save. 82 minutes into the match, GALACTICOS's goalkeeper Esteban Dreer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yuri Alberto. In the 89th match minute, MAZER SAF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Castro to maneuver through the defense. Murillo Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. If Noel Hägele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
