Christian Braga started the match with the kick off. After 7 minutes of play, O MOTIVO ⚽'s Elder Seco made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michel Montenegro was left in no man's land by his defense there! The O MOTIVO ⚽ fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when O MOTIVO ⚽'s Christian Braga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Maverick Futebol Clube defense, Kaká da Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michel Montenegro. The Maverick Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michel Montenegro should have stopped the shot. In the 20th minute, Jaime Quirino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The O MOTIVO ⚽ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Michel Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká da Silva in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, O MOTIVO ⚽'s Christian Braga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michel Montenegro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Michel Montenegro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elder Seco went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. After 41 minutes, Christian Braga made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Maverick Futebol Clube's Michel Montenegro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Manuel Maciel was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 45 minutes into the match. In the 46th match minute, O MOTIVO ⚽ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Maciel to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raimundo Abraão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maverick Futebol Clube's Wit Chuchro got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Christian Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Braga in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michel Montenegro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michel Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Braga in the 70th minute of the match. Dida Braga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the match, O MOTIVO ⚽'s goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Abraão came free, but Dida Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 played minutes Maverick Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by João Tinoco. After 76 minutes, João Tinoco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maverick Futebol Clube and the O MOTIVO ⚽ players grew even worse after the yellow card. João Tinoco hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. A well placed Christian Braga short distance shot in the 84th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. In the 89th minute, Christian Braga reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Michel Montenegro. The goal made the score 0-9. When the final whistle sounded O MOTIVO ⚽ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Maverick Futebol Clube.
