In the 9th minute Lars Jeppesen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maverick Futebol Clube's Caio dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krister Ekeberg in the 27th minute of play. Caio dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krister Ekeberg in the 30th minute of play. Percival Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Börje Brummer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sérgio Dante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Börje Brummer made a huge save. Lars Jeppesen took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caio dos Santos. Caio dos Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A collision led to Maverick Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Roger Rossi hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

53 minutes into the game, Timmernabben FF's Johannes Johansson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caio dos Santos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Lars Jeppesen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Lars Jeppesen notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Maverick Futebol Clube's Caio dos Santos. Caio dos Santos was a little too slow when Johannes Johansson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 0-5. Stig Täman kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Börje Brummer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. If Lars Jeppesen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
