In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Diamante U18's goalkeeper Gregorio Fagildo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Carlos Paio fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Diamante U18's protests and gave Carlos Paio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Deportivo Diamante U18 getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Carlos Paio hit a great ball. Dan Radcliffe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Gregory, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Esteban Acuña was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Diamante U18's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave T H F C the free kick. Esteban Acuña hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Jonas Gregory received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Dan Radcliffe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonas Gregory kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, Deportivo Diamante U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Karmel to maneuver through the defense. After 24 played minutes Deportivo Diamante U18 got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Lico. Jo Timiney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Fagildo having to interfere. Gregorio Fagildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonny Dexter in the 29th minute of the match. Chris Nightingale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dan Radcliffe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Gregory, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th match minute, T H F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quentin Forrest to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute of the match Abel Pasqualini shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dan Radcliffe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 37th match minute, T H F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ben Gibbs to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st match minute, T H F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jo Timiney to maneuver through the defense. Victoriano Quintin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dan Radcliffe. T H F C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jonny Dexter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Fagildo having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Deportivo Diamante U18's Jonas Gregory nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dan Radcliffe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonas Gregory to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonas Gregory could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Dan Radcliffe made a huge save. Tadeo Eli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Dan Radcliffe made a huge save. In the 58th minute Tadeo Eli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Radcliffe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deportivo Diamante U18's Gregorio Fagildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonny Dexter in the 64th minute of play. The supporters of Deportivo Diamante U18 booed when T H F C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Nightingale didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Quentin Forrest managed to get in a good position for a shot. T H F C's supporters rose to their feet, but Quentin Forrest was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorio Fagildo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd match minute, T H F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jo Timiney to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Tadeo Eli got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 86th minute Tadeo Eli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Radcliffe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gregorio Fagildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben Gibbs in the 87th minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Florentino Lico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Diamante U18's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florentino Lico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Elvio Karmel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. T H F C's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
