Ulises Frutos lost his temper 28 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Quinton Pujol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Ignazio in the 31st minute of play. Quinton Pujol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeronimo Pudes's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeronimo Pudes in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quinton Pujol saved Los Colegas del Barrio from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Pudes in the 44th minute of play forced Los Colegas del Barrio's goalkeeper Quinton Pujol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Jeronimo Pudes came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Deportivo Diamante U18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeronimo Pudes couldn't finish the play. Jeronimo Pudes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Quinton Pujol made a huge save. In the 75th match minute, Los Colegas del Barrio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ansuro Morales to maneuver through the defense. Jeronimo Pudes succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 85th playminute. Eriberto Sindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guter Puig, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 90th match minute, Deportivo Diamante U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Chus to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Deportivo Diamante U18 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
