Legacy Youth Academy's attentive Ramiro Videl managed to snatch the ball when Jonathan Moura made a throw-in in the 7th minute of the game. 8 minutes into the match, Legacy Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Pinho came free, but Lisandro Rameriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandrinho Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Rameriz having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Legacy Youth Academy's Roberto Quirze ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dagoberto de Queirós. Dagoberto de Queirós yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Lisandro Rameriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Telmo da Fonseca in the 19th minute of play. Lisandro Rameriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Telmo da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldo Pinho in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lisandro Rameriz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Telmo da Fonseca scored 1-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lisandro Rameriz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute, Telmo da Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Castanheiro SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 46th minute Telmo da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Rameriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Ronaldo Pinho made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Telmo da Fonseca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lisandro Rameriz was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. 56 minutes into the match, Legacy Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo da Fonseca came free, but Lisandro Rameriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute Dimitry Lyakhnenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute of the match Nunez Normando shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dagoberto de Queirós showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Legacy Youth Academy's Lisandro Rameriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telmo da Fonseca in the 69th minute of play. Ronaldo Pinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lisandro Rameriz having to make a save. Lisandro Rameriz made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Isaltino Dionísio sent off a good shot on target. In the 77th minute Roberto Quirze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Wilfredo Oliveiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dagoberto de Queirós was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. If Ronaldo Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Gaspar during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Legacy Youth Academy booed when Castanheiro SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Gaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball.
