Maximilian Buser charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximilian Buser the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. FC Lugano's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gaudencio Benvide 7 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Odysseus De Souza hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Max Sevier acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 10th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Victoriano Ceandro. With a little luck, FC Lugano's Max Sevier got control of the ball when Nacho Manuel tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Nacho Manuel, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 12 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Max Sevier was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 14th match minute, Shuspendemo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Ceandro to maneuver through the defense. Tito Waechter charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tito Waechter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes FC Lugano got a freekick which was hit by Tito Waechter. Max Sevier came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Shuspendemo's Nacho Manuel. But to his dismay, Nacho Manuel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Max Sevier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nacho Manuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. FC Lugano's Maximilian Buser got his second yellow card of the match in the 29th minute. The referee ordered Maximilian Buser off the ground. Maximilian Buser hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Shuspendemo's Juan Foyth got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Nacho Manuel notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of FC Lugano's Max Sevier. Max Sevier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Max Sevier successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. FC Lugano made a substitution. Tiziano Gamache replaced Ulric Donsante. A collision led to FC Lugano getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Hugo Haller hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Tiziano Gamache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Haroldo Cresencio made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florian Diederich during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Lugano getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Florian Diederich hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute of the match Juan Foyth sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Max Sevier skillfully saved the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Eloy Chesus notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of FC Lugano's Max Sevier. Max Sevier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Shuspendemo's Haroldo Cresencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Diederich in the 80th minute of play. Florian Diederich was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 83rd minute, Florian Diederich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Foyth took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Max Sevier. FC Lugano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Max Sevier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nacho Manuel in the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Palmiro Brennwald in the 92nd minute of play forced Shuspendemo's goalkeeper Haroldo Cresencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shuspendemo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
