Ermegildo Hitz's late challenge caught a New Joinville - FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ermegildo Hitz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ZORZAL01 getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Ermegildo Hitz hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, ZORZAL01's Luisito Medero got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 8th match minute, New Joinville - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Róbson Travassos to maneuver through the defense. Silvinho Gaúcho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamin Firmo went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Silvinho Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Hitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the ZORZAL01 defense, Memphis Xande kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauricio Maura. The ZORZAL01 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauricio Maura should have stopped the shot. The supporters of New Joinville - FSCMZ booed when ZORZAL01 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Firmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Róbson Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 38 minutes of play, ZORZAL01's Benjamin Firmo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvinho Gaúcho was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Benjamin Firmo managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZORZAL01's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Firmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvinho Gaúcho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

ZORZAL01's Nemesio Etxekopar was substituted for Victoriano Bembe. Silvinho Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Medero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Firmo in the 58th minute of play forced New Joinville - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Silvinho Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Róbson Travassos got a free kick in the 64th minute. ZORZAL01's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benjamin Firmo in the 72nd minute. In the 73rdth minute of the game Benjamin Firmo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New Joinville - FSCMZ's Silvinho Gaúcho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th minute, Nemesio Etxekopar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Benjamin Firmo sped through New Joinville - FSCMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silvinho Gaúcho. If Nemesio Etxekopar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, New Joinville - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Firmo came free, but Silvinho Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Memphis Xande got free with Mauricio Maura in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 96 minutes into the game, Gregorio Cortez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ZORZAL01's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Joinville - FSCMZ the free kick. The supporters of New Joinville - FSCMZ booed when ZORZAL01 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Cortez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauricio Maura came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by New Joinville - FSCMZ's Memphis Xande. But to his dismay, Memphis Xande quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ZORZAL01 had won after a very even match.
