Dráuzio Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Tohias having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Profecías de Parravicini's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Pontes came free, but Santo Tohias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Profecías de Parravicini's Hilario Sustrai got a free kick in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dráuzio Saldanha in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santo Tohias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Desiderio Servando hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After 28 played minutes Profecías de Parravicini got a freekick which was hit by Hilario Sustrai. The referee felt a red card was in order, 30 minutes into the game, when Dalmacio Padro put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Profecías de Parravicini fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! Internazionale-RS's Celsinho Aparecido got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santo Tohias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráuzio Saldanha in the 39th minute of the match. If Samuca Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dráuzio Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Santo Tohias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Internazionale-RS made a substitution. Roberto Sena replaced Thiago Coutinho. 54 minutes into the match, Alfredinho Macedo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Profecías de Parravicini's Santo Tohias. Santo Tohias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Santo Tohias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Augusto Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The Internazionale-RS fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Internazionale-RS's Alfredinho Macedo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Santo Tohias was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Zé Augusto Mazza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zé Augusto Mazza really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Santo Tohias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Augusto Mazza in the 72nd minute of play. Zé Augusto Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Tohias having to interfere. Santo Tohias didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Internazionale-RS's Alfredinho Macedo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 84th minute, Celsinho Aparecido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Internazionale-RS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Profecías de Parravicini.
