Laurențiu Dragnea's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leon Santos firmly grabbed it by the left post. Pity 31's Leon Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boguslaw Dziedelonis in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute C.S.D Punta Ballena were awarded a corner. Franz Hyld went to the cornerflag to take it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iker Mendiko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Idacio Monteros hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Pity 31's Sarmis Čalis got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After 56 played minutes Pity 31 got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Lander. Laurențiu Dragnea scored 2-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leon Santos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. C.S.D Punta Ballena's Ma Xiang Yang managed to work through Pity 31's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ma Xiang Yang dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Leon Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurențiu Dragnea in the 73rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, C.S.D Punta Ballena's Jorre Van De Beeck got a free kick in the 75th minute. C.S.D Punta Ballena made a substitution. Cristian Mosquera replaced Brion Heyros. Jorre Van De Beeck hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in C.S.D Punta Ballena's zone, José Antonio Camacho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The supporters of C.S.D Punta Ballena booed when Pity 31 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Cristofor didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ma Xiang Yang in the 84th minute of play forced Pity 31's goalkeeper Leon Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Ma Xiang Yang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.S.D Punta Ballena fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Pity 31's zone, Ma Xiang Yang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Santos came out of the goal and Ma Xiang Yang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The C.S.D Punta Ballena support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
