Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Independente FC's Zé Carlos de Azevedo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Skellerup FC's Aake Pust got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Gilberto Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ejvin Møllekær having to interfere. Øjvind Rosager hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Zé Carlos de Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ejvin Møllekær tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute Zé Carlos de Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ejvin Møllekær saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nestor Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aake Pust in the 24th minute of play. Skellerup FC's Ejvin Møllekær played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos de Azevedo in the 25th minute of play. Ejvin Møllekær came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Independente FC's Zé Carlos de Azevedo. But to his dismay, Zé Carlos de Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Independente FC's Jonas Esteves got a free kick in the 29th minute. Ejvin Møllekær showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Carlos de Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Independente FC were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Skellerup FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benedito Trancoso took the corner. Benedito Trancoso made a great header on Independente FC's corner, it was just that Skellerup FC's Ejvin Møllekær managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 38th minute Gilberto Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ejvin Møllekær saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, José Vítor Rodrigues left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Independente FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Ejvin Møllekær stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zé Carlos de Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 44th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jørgen Ebler made a kick off. Nestor Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josef Belhøj in the 52nd minute of play. When Inácio Pinheiro fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Independente FC's protests and gave Inácio Pinheiro a yellow card for diving instead. Inácio Pinheiro hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Skellerup FC's Ejvin Møllekær played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos de Azevedo in the 56th minute of play. After some careless play in the Independente FC defense, Jørgen Ebler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestor Quintal. The Independente FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestor Quintal should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd minute, Independente FC's Jonas Esteves seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jonas Esteves the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Independente FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jonas Esteves had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 63rd minute, Jonas Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nestor Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caspar Ambrink in the 64th minute of the match. Independente FC's Nestor Quintal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Belhøj in the 71st minute of play. When the match was over Independente FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Skellerup FC throughout the match.
