In the 5th minute, Valente Nieva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Caaguazu getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Mancio Rapela hit a great ball. Mancio Rapela succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 12th playminute. 21 minutes into the match, Mancio Rapela notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Vila Ema Ravens's Dráuzio Souza. Dráuzio Souza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dráuzio Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mancio Rapela, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goal looked a bit too open when Türker Sonalp came free, but Vincente Monzon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. German Canado might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dráuzio Souza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. German Canado ran back to his position shaking his head. Caaguazu's Vincente Monzon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Türker Sonalp in the 36th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Türker Sonalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincente Monzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Caaguazu's Pankracy Kasiewski got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Luís Luz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the game, Caaguazu's Mancio Rapela nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dráuzio Souza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Caaguazu made a substitution. Tajo Barquerin replaced Dagoberto Alcalde. Caaguazu's Cordareo Lazcano was substituted for Felix Olloa. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Türker Sonalp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Vila Ema Ravens's Severino Domenec got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 57th minute of the match Valente Nieva sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dráuzio Souza skillfully saved the ball. Vincente Monzon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Luz in the 59th minute of play. With a little luck, Caaguazu's Vincente Monzon got control of the ball when Türker Sonalp tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vincente Monzon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Balada, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goalkeeper Vincente Monzon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Türker Sonalp. Luís Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 85th minute, Severino Domenec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Caaguazu's Vincente Monzon got control of the ball when Türker Sonalp tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Luís Luz fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vila Ema Ravens's protests and gave Luís Luz a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Balada in the 92nd minute of play forced Caaguazu's goalkeeper Vincente Monzon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Luz got his second yellow card in the match during the 98th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 99th minute, Luís Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Caaguazu fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vila Ema Ravens had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
