Narciso Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikolaj Budzynski in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Wesley Teles notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of KS LEW Chorzów's Wit Kasperowicz. Wit Kasperowicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was Wieslaw Maziarski who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Wieslaw Maziarski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but October 04's Narciso Guimarães did a great save. Egídio Senna might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wit Kasperowicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Egídio Senna ran back to his position shaking his head. The corner ended in Wieslaw Maziarski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but October 04's Narciso Guimarães did a great save. If Mikolaj Budzynski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. October 04's Narciso Guimarães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save October 04 from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ruy Lira charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruy Lira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, October 04's Ruy Lira got a free kick in the 67th minute. The throw-in from Ruy Lira in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by KS LEW Chorzów's Gerhard Vejs. If Mikolaj Budzynski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikolaj Budzynski struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Narciso Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS LEW Chorzów. Wieslaw Maziarski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 84 played minutes KS LEW Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Mikolaj Juszkowski. In the 88th match minute, October 04 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustão dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. Mikolaj Budzynski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wlodzimierz Zbikowski during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 played minutes KS LEW Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Wlodzimierz Zbikowski. October 04's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
