After taking down the ball on Moodys IF's corner Alex Kilstedt fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kang Ying Hai quite easily take care of the ball. Azam Sum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikolaj Giertych, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Mikolaj Giertych sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 25th minute Mikolaj Giertych shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azam Sum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mikolaj Giertych might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Azam Sum. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mikolaj Giertych ran back to his position shaking his head. 28 minutes into the match, Moodys IF's goal looked a bit too open when Mikolaj Giertych came free, but Azam Sum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Azam Sum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikolaj Giertych in the 34th minute of the match. A collision led to Moodys IF getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Traian Ursu hit a great ball. Azam Sum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikolaj Giertych in the 40th minute of play. Valentin Geambașu's late challenge caught a Moodys IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentin Geambașu helped the player get up and apologised. Valentin Geambașu kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brian May to make the kick off. Mikolaj Giertych's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Azam Sum read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. When Mikolaj Giertych came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the ..Villa Rugby Club.. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikolaj Giertych couldn't finish the play. Mikolaj Giertych recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mikolaj Giertych fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Azam Sum having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Gaur in the 89th minute of play forced Moodys IF's goalkeeper Azam Sum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Carlos Saúl Menem reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Azam Sum. The goal made the score 0-5.
