In the 15th minute, Kjell-Arne Åberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Batıhan Özbil was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Azam Sum made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Saruhan Şenbay sent off a good shot on target. 39 minutes into the match, Kaplan FK's Saruhan Şenbay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Azam Sum narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 40th minute Kaplan FK were awarded a corner. Arslan İzhan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Arslan İzhan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Moodys IF's Azam Sum did a great save. After a rather tough play, Moodys IF's Traian Ursu got a free kick in the 41st minute. Saruhan Şenbay might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Azam Sum. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saruhan Şenbay ran back to his position shaking his head. Saruhan Şenbay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Azam Sum made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Saruhan Şenbay made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Andreas Carlberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Kaplan FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Batıhan Özbil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brian May in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute, Saruhan Şenbay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kaplan FK's Erkan Eraltay was substituted for Saruhan Şenbay. Andreas Carlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Kaplan FK's Arslan İzhan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Azam Sum in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
