An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingemar Jonasson in the 4th minute of play forced FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalkeeper Lucrețiu Sfetcu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oakcroft Thrashers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Harry Ekeberg in the 5th minute. Harry Ekeberg made a great header on Oakcroft Thrashers's corner, it was just that FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Lucrețiu Sfetcu managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience was convinced that Ingemar Jonasson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucrețiu Sfetcu was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Lucrețiu Sfetcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingemar Jonasson in the 10th minute of the match. A collision led to Oakcroft Thrashers getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Harry Ekeberg hit a great ball. After 21 played minutes FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Floricel. The audience was convinced that Ingemar Jonasson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucrețiu Sfetcu was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingemar Jonasson in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucrețiu Sfetcu saved FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt from getting behind. After having played for 24 minutes, Ingemar Jonasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oakcroft Thrashers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingemar Jonasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 31 minutes FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Harry Ekeberg who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Oakcroft Thrashers's corner Harry Ekeberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lucrețiu Sfetcu quite easily take care of the ball. Christoffer Modig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costin Malcoci in the 33rd minute of play. Ákos Vincze didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christoffer Modig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Brănescu in the 45th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jörn Holm got free with Lucrețiu Sfetcu in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrian Nasta to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valer Perișoară got free with Christoffer Modig in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Oakcroft Thrashers booed when FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Cucu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 55 minutes, Harry Ekeberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oakcroft Thrashers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harry Ekeberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oakcroft Thrashers's Christoffer Modig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Nasta in the 68th minute of play. When Oakcroft Thrashers's Jörn Holm in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goalie prevented a goal. In the 75th minute, Jörn Holm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oakcroft Thrashers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 80th minute Adrian Nasta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Modig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingemar Jonasson in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucrețiu Sfetcu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Lucrețiu Sfetcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörn Holm in the 82nd minute of play. Jörn Holm took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucrețiu Sfetcu. Lucrețiu Sfetcu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Nasta in the 88th minute of play forced Oakcroft Thrashers's goalkeeper Christoffer Modig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's goal looked a bit too open when Jörn Holm came free, but Lucrețiu Sfetcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ingemar Jonasson came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Oakcroft Thrashers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingemar Jonasson couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Adrian Nasta got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Ingemar Jonasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horia Chioreanu hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Oakcroft Thrashers were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt for a fine match.
