Thanks to some nice moves Tomas Mikeldi could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Jean-Marie Raimbault however easily saved by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Noureddine Burgun in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeronimo Abella prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Royal PSG's goalkeeper Jean-Marie Raimbault, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 27 played minutes INDEPENDIENTE F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Mikeldi. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Noureddine Burgun in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeronimo Abella saved INDEPENDIENTE F.C. from getting behind. Jeronimo Abella stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Noureddine Burgun's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 35th minute, Noureddine Burgun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute Mathias Serieys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Abella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Jean-Marie Guichaoua had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeronimo Abella. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jean-Marie Guichaoua was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2.

After a rather tough play, INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s Cristian Ado got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Royal PSG's Noureddine Burgun dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. 57 minutes into the game, Nestor Clausen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. INDEPENDIENTE F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Royal PSG the free kick. Serge Dole struck a weak shot in the 58th minute.
