Hampus Vallin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabriel Medeiros having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Denílson Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot. VARGINHA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Denílson Vidal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrik Tingberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of VARGINHA FC booed when IKS Norrköping was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Sefastsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21stth minute of the game Hamílton Terra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IKS Norrköping's Henrik Tingberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Hamílton Terra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Henrik Tingberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 42nd minute VARGINHA FC were awarded a corner. Paulão Nóbrega went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, VARGINHA FC's Denílson Vidal got a free kick in the 43rd minute. IKS Norrköping's Henrik Tingberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save IKS Norrköping from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, IKS Norrköping's Henrik Tingberg got control of the ball when Denílson Vidal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Gabriel Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Forssberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Gabriel Medeiros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Henrik Tingberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denílson Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marcus Forssberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 minutes of play, IKS Norrköping's Marcus Forssberg made it 5-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabriel Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! VARGINHA FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
