Alvin Thedin made in the 19th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Janusze Futbolu's Danny Carey. Dito Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Caniglia in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Caniglia in the 22nd minute of play forced VARGINHA FC's goalkeeper Dito Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudio Caniglia in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dito Novaes saved VARGINHA FC from getting behind. Dito Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Caniglia in the 46th minute of play. Janusze Futbolu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ricard Quaresma in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Josué Paiva to make the kick off. Peter-Michael Schmeichel came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by VARGINHA FC's Josué Paiva. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 78 minutes into the match, VARGINHA FC's goalkeeper Dito Novaes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Caniglia. VARGINHA FC's Dito Novaes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save VARGINHA FC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patxi Palenzuela in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter-Michael Schmeichel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 91st match minute, Janusze Futbolu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolás Tagliafico to maneuver through the defense. After 93 played minutes Janusze Futbolu got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Hori. Alvin Thedin struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Peter-Michael Schmeichel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VARGINHA FC. The Janusze Futbolu players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
