With an all-out effort, Grasshoppers Klucze's Pascal Vledder threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bogdan Rywin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee ignored De Digitale Dribbelaars's protests and gave Kristof Klompe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wlodzimierz Fleszar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wlodzimierz Fleszar. The Grasshoppers Klucze players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. De Digitale Dribbelaars were winning 1-2.
