Arnfred Engersløv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yakup Kadri Akbatur, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. In the 4th minute Murilo Catarinense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnfred Engersløv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Catarinense in the 6th minute of play forced RoBen FC's goalkeeper Arnfred Engersløv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 7 minutes, Andrés Chavez made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. RoBen FC's Arnfred Engersløv tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute, Yakup Kadri Akbatur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnfred Engersløv was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. A sloppy throw-in by Marquinhos Miranda in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by RoBen FC's Kristof Rarbo. In the 26th minute, Jess Oldendov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Fábio Braga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arnfred Engersløv. RoBen FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Asgar Lehnsbo managed to get in a good position for a shot. RoBen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Asgar Lehnsbo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeu Netto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Kristof Rarbo came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the RoBen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristof Rarbo couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the match, RoBen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andrés Chavez came free, but Arnfred Engersløv reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Andrés Chavez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnfred Engersløv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Reinhard Garrild fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RoBen FC's protests and gave Reinhard Garrild a yellow card for diving instead. Reinhard Garrild kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 45 played minutes, Metolokos MZ Clube's Luiz Fábio Braga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnfred Engersløv came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Metolokos MZ Clube reached it. Arnfred Engersløv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrés Chavez in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Metolokos MZ Clube were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Metolokos MZ Clube made a substitution. Raimundo Mesquita replaced Alex Peres. 53 minutes into the match, RoBen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Catarinense came free, but Arnfred Engersløv reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Metolokos MZ Clube booed when RoBen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristof Rarbo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the match, RoBen FC's goalkeeper Arnfred Engersløv had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yakup Kadri Akbatur. With an all-out effort, Metolokos MZ Clube's Arnfred Engersløv threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Andrés Chavez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Romeu Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asgar Lehnsbo in the 59th minute of play. Kristof Rarbo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Andrés Chavez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnfred Engersløv was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Metolokos MZ Clube's Zé Baptista got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Andrés Chavez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnfred Engersløv was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Asgar Lehnsbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Netto having to interfere. Matheus Nascimento hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When RoBen FC's Kenneth Jelsby in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Metolokos MZ Clube's goalie prevented a goal. Metolokos MZ Clube's Yakup Kadri Akbatur was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 85th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Bøje Derning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Netto having to interfere.
