The shot was a little too simple and Gildo de Alcântara could save by the left post. Gildo de Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alcino Guterres in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the referee ended the match the Pau Nas Canelas players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
