But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moritz Wihrs couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.D Leônico's goalkeeper André Luiz de Barros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. André Luiz de Barros came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by RoBen FC's Moritz Wihrs. But to his dismay, Moritz Wihrs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, RoBen FC's goalkeeper Jerom Smoors had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vatan Kambay. 22 minutes into the match, A.D Leônico's goal looked a bit too open when Adolf Jamieson came free, but André Luiz de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, A.D Leônico's goal looked a bit too open when Palle Ovengaard came free, but André Luiz de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The A.D Leônico players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. RoBen FC were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vatan Kambay to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Vatan Kambay made a precise shot to the right of Jerom Smoors. RoBen FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Jerom Smoors made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vatan Kambay in the 54th minute of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Andriy Shevchenko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.D Leônico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andriy Shevchenko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vatan Kambay in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jerom Smoors prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 67 played minutes RoBen FC got a freekick which was hit by Theodor Elsbro. Jerom Smoors showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Moritz Wihrs managed to get in a good position for a shot. RoBen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Moritz Wihrs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Luiz de Barros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the RoBen FC defense, Andriy Shevchenko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerom Smoors. The RoBen FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerom Smoors should have stopped the shot. The supporters of A.D Leônico booed when RoBen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristoffer Mibak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tony Mendes's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Jerom Smoors - 3-2 was put on the score board in the 81st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vatan Kambay in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerom Smoors saved RoBen FC from getting behind. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The A.D Leônico fans cheered their team off the field, for while RoBen FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
