Raimundo Delgado came out of the goal and Valdo Manurga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's goal looked a bit too open when Patrício Poças came free, but Nevada Maderos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Borussia Dortmund's Bela Reynoso got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Garanhão do SUL's goalkeeper Raimundo Delgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Duardo Bolantin to make the kick off. Estebano Reganado struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. After 92 played minutes, Borussia Dortmund's Filipe Zaballos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Raimundo Delgado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Borussia Dortmund reached it. Garanhão do SUL's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
