Akis Kefallinos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roberto Eztebe. AFC FUSION's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lino Rios in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ignatius Casasola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 36 minutes into the game, Cassiano Telinhos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garanhão do SUL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC FUSION the free kick. A collision led to Garanhão do SUL getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Cassiano Telinhos hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Rios got free with Ignatius Casasola in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the match, Lino Rios dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ignatius Casasola, 3-0. In the 44th minute of the game Cassiano Telinhos made a throw-in which Edgar Costa played forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Rios got free with Ignatius Casasola in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. AFC FUSION's Lino Rios got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lino Rios to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Rios in the 51st minute of play forced Garanhão do SUL's goalkeeper Ignatius Casasola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ignatius Casasola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Akis Kefallinos hit a great ball. AFC FUSION's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
