After 47 played minutes Hamburg City Vampires got a freekick which was hit by Marc Hooiveld. André Roriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Hamburg City Vampires players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Garanhão do SUL were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and André Roriz made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torcato Rebocho in the 62nd minute of play forced Hamburg City Vampires's goalkeeper Eugeniusz Tyski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute Reinhard Borkmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignatius Casasola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute Torcato Rebocho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugeniusz Tyski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garanhão do SUL's Obafemi Fabiani was substituted for André Roriz. Garanhão do SUL's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The Garanhão do SUL players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
