Kaplan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Viktor Cziráki scored to the left of an out of position Emilian Martinez, making the score, 2-2. Viktor Cziráki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Kaplan's Emilian Martinez got control of the ball when Viktor Cziráki tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ren Zhi Ke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaplan's Emilian Martinez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Kaplan from getting a goal against them. Emilian Martinez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Viktor Cziráki showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 34 minute of play. A collision led to Emeryt Sosnowiec getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Szymon Lipa hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the game, Dong Quan Yang threw the ball into play from the sideline. Emeryt Sosnowiec's Zenon Lech quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 47 minutes into the match, Kaplan's goalkeeper Emilian Martinez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viktor Cziráki. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

Emeryt Sosnowiec made a substitution. Alexander Helguera replaced Antal Fodor. Emeryt Sosnowiec's Olaf Glozor was substituted for Viktor Cziráki. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexander Helguera to make the kick off. Olaf Glozor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emilian Martinez having to make a save. Emilian Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olaf Glozor in the 67th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Damião Granja got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 71st play minutes Alvaro Cordarrol shot 4-3, a short shot which went by Cícero Palmeira and just under the crossbar into goal. Kaplan made a substitution. Teodosio Erramu replaced Benedicto Medero. After 77 minutes of play, Emeryt Sosnowiec's Olaf Glozor made it 5-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emilian Martinez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cícero Palmeira made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Damião Granja sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexander Helguera in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilian Martinez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 86th minute Olaf Glozor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilian Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 89 minutes, Alexander Helguera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Emeryt Sosnowiec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Helguera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Emeryt Sosnowiec fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kaplan had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
