Facundo Feria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Cipriano Ganix's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomiro Txindoki was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Baldomiro Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Feria in the 11th minute of play. Gianluigi Donnarumma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigel Horhoianu in the 20th minute of play. Gianluigi Donnarumma came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Gigel Horhoianu. But to his dismay, Gigel Horhoianu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 22 minutes into the match, Facundo Feria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baldomiro Txindoki. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Facundo Feria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Gianluigi Donnarumma didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Qian Chao Tian went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. When PERSPOLIS's Cipriano Ganix in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cipriano Ganix's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomiro Txindoki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cipriano Ganix in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomiro Txindoki saved FC UNIREA Alba Iulia from getting behind. 40 minutes into the game, Orçun Yalınalp recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gianluigi Donnarumma. Orçun Yalınalp showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Orçun Yalınalp to strike the kick off in the second half. Baldomiro Txindoki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Feria in the 52nd minute of play. PERSPOLIS's Gianluigi Donnarumma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Arósio in the 54th minute of play. Gianluigi Donnarumma made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Gianluigi Donnarumma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orçun Yalınalp in the 71st minute of play. In the 81st minute Eric Luican shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Donnarumma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Myles Powderham charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Myles Powderham the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC UNIREA Alba Iulia booed when PERSPOLIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Myles Powderham didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rdth minute of the game Orçun Yalınalp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PERSPOLIS's Gianluigi Donnarumma was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hector Grabiel made in the 94th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Orçun Yalınalp. Orçun Yalınalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gianluigi Donnarumma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
