Tasso FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Severino Taveira lost his temper 7 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 7 minutes into the game, one of Tasso FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Zeferino Távora had in the 9thth minute some difficulties stopping Birger Ekgren's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A collision led to Tasso FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Aloísio Leitão hit a great ball. Patrício Tomé received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eddie Alström came out and tried to block the shot, but Patrício Tomé slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 15th minute. Zeferino Távora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christer Termander, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute of the match BK Värdsholmen got a corner. Tasso FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Birger Ekgren ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Birger Ekgren almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tasso FC's Zeferino Távora did a great save. After 23 minutes, Diego Mendonça mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tasso FC and the BK Värdsholmen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Diego Mendonça hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Tasso FC's Zeferino Távora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Ferm in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, BK Värdsholmen's goal looked a bit too open when Aloísio Leitão came free, but Eddie Alström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Christer Termander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeferino Távora was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The Tasso FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BK Värdsholmen were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patrício Tomé to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, BK Värdsholmen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Widberg to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Tasso FC's Diego Mendonça tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Lundhberg in the 55th minute of play forced Tasso FC's goalkeeper Zeferino Távora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Christer Termander came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the BK Värdsholmen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christer Termander couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frank Lundhberg during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Tasso FC booed when BK Värdsholmen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Lundhberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, BK Värdsholmen's goal looked a bit too open when Patrício Tomé came free, but Eddie Alström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrício Tomé's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eddie Alström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Zeferino Távora made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Karl Ferm sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Filip Hedman managed to get in a good position for a shot. BK Värdsholmen's supporters rose to their feet, but Filip Hedman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeferino Távora breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute, Keith Richards hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christer Termander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Zeferino Távora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrício Tomé in the 93rd minute of play forced BK Värdsholmen's goalkeeper Eddie Alström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The BK Värdsholmen players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
