Peace Home Street Boys's Per-Oskar Hedberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Ostargi in the 6th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Miguel Godoy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Per-Oskar Hedberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Desiderio Ostargi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Per-Oskar Hedberg made a huge save. When Kayacan Müjdat came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Peace Home Street Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kayacan Müjdat couldn't finish the play. Feliciano Elodio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Strömqvist in the 20th minute of play. Miguel Godoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Desiderio Ostargi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, 1989 Blxsk's Feliciano Elodio got control of the ball when Kayacan Müjdat tried to sneak it across the goal line.
