The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Turma FC's Hamílton Abraão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Turma FC from getting a goal against them. 11 minutes into the match, Spartans Lodz's goal looked a bit too open when Iztal Angosto came free, but Leszek Brak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hamílton Abraão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fryderyk Jajecznica in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute, Prudencio Matia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leopoldo Lambarri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leszek Brak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iztal Angosto in the 27th minute of play. Hamílton Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witold Pryputnicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Turma FC's goalkeeper Hamílton Abraão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fryderyk Jajecznica. In the 37th minute Spartans Lodz were awarded a corner. Krzysztof Okopny went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Karol Karp managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Ollie Granger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leszek Brak having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ollie Granger in the 47th minute of play forced Spartans Lodz's goalkeeper Leszek Brak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fryderyk Jajecznica stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leszek Brak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ollie Granger in the 56th minute of play. Karol Karp hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Hamílton Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witold Pryputnicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Spartans Lodz getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Pierre-Emmanuel Agostini hit a great ball. Hamílton Abraão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fryderyk Jajecznica's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Leszek Brak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iztal Angosto in the 73rd minute of the match. Fryderyk Jajecznica's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hamílton Abraão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Witold Pryputnicki kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Fryderyk Jajecznica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hamílton Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witold Pryputnicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the match was over Turma FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Spartans Lodz throughout the match.
