In the 47th minute, Zikri Eygül got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zikri Eygül to make the kick off. MZetowe Mastodonty were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after IFK Göteborg's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eugeniusz Mentis took the corner. Zikri Eygül could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Florin Dorlea made a huge save. Zikri Eygül took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florin Dorlea. Florin Dorlea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. IFK Göteborg's Florin Dorlea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zikri Eygül in the 58th minute of play. Zikri Eygül could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Florin Dorlea made a huge save. MZetowe Mastodonty's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eugeniusz Mentis in the 63rd minute. MZetowe Mastodonty's Eugeniusz Mentis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Florin Dorlea in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 66th minute MZetowe Mastodonty were awarded a corner. Eugeniusz Mentis went to the cornerflag to take it. 68 minutes into the match, IFK Göteborg's goalkeeper Florin Dorlea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zikri Eygül. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Zikri Eygül managed to get in a good position for a shot. MZetowe Mastodonty's supporters rose to their feet, but Zikri Eygül was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florin Dorlea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zbyszek Kaider took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Gray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zikri Eygül's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Florin Dorlea skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 76 minutes, Jens-Ove Lindkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
