When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Arne Stensson put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fabiano Lucas. G A I S's supporters rose to their feet, but John Jernberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabiano Lucas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Rapinantes F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabiano Lucas should have stopped the shot. But to his dismay, John Jernberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 14-0. Fabiano Lucas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horea Vulcănescu in the 92nd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Rapinantes F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when John Jernberg came free, but Fabiano Lucas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. G A I S fully deserved thier win.
