In the 10th minute Jonatan Colon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Tavera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Serbülent Tokuş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Modroñes's Celso Tavera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Guipuzkoa in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Nereo Guipuzkoa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Celso Tavera, 1-0. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nereo Guipuzkoa to make the kick off. Despite this Celso Tavera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Babür Mertoğlu got free with Jeronimo Lizar in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Celso Tavera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Colon, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Tranquilate's Jeronimo Lizar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Tranquilate from getting a goal against them.
