The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Real Soccer FC booed when FC Lutanu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octav Romaşcanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Cristobal Jurgi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Irinel Soneriu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 17th minute, Jeoffrey Beetens made a precise shot to the right of Irinel Soneriu. FC Lutanu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeoffrey Beetens in the 21st minute of play forced FC Lutanu's goalkeeper Irinel Soneriu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Real Soccer FC's Aristide Lung played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yetkiner Yasun in the 24th minute of play. Irinel Soneriu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeoffrey Beetens, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Aristide Lung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iulian Iancu in the 26th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, FC Lutanu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantin Istrătescu to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, FC Lutanu's goal looked a bit too open when Mazinho de Alcântara came free, but Irinel Soneriu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octav Romaşcanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Irinel Soneriu came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Real Soccer FC's Cristobal Jurgi. But to his dismay, Cristobal Jurgi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristobal Jurgi made a kick off. Irinel Soneriu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeoffrey Beetens in the 54th minute. Jeoffrey Beetens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Irinel Soneriu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Lutanu's goalkeeper Irinel Soneriu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jeoffrey Beetens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Irinel Soneriu made a huge save. Aristide Lung showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octav Romaşcanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. FC Lutanu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ilie Cazacu in the 66th minute. In the 70th minute of the match FC Lutanu got a corner. Real Soccer FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The corner led FC Lutanu's Ilie Cazacu to fire away a dangerous shot which Aristide Lung despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Irinel Soneriu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Jurgi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Soccer FC's goalkeeper Aristide Lung, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Lutanu's goalkeeper Irinel Soneriu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Irinel Soneriu came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Soccer FC's Jeoffrey Beetens. But to his dismay, Jeoffrey Beetens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 88th match minute, Real Soccer FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Löfdahl to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yetkiner Yasun in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aristide Lung prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Real Soccer FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
