The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ryan Giggs got free with Boğaç İley in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th minute of the game Mehmet Ferit Karaca made a throw-in which Ryan Giggs played forward. Küçükdere SK's Boğaç İley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gencer Hüdayioğlu in the 15th minute of play. Küçükdere SK's Boğaç İley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Küçükdere SK from getting a goal against them. Boğaç İley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özgür Acunalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 33rd minute, Cafer Uygur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th match minute, Emotep SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brayden McPaul to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Küçükdere SK's zone, Gencer Hüdayioğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boğaç İley came out of the goal and Gencer Hüdayioğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emotep SK's Gencer Hüdayioğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kürşat Veysel made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Nazmi Perkin made a precise shot to the right of Fernanco Muslera. Emotep SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Küçükdere SK's Cafer Uygur got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Özgür Acunalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 66th minute, Küçükdere SK's Kürşat Veysel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Boğaç İley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brayden McPaul in the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Küçükdere SK's goal looked a bit too open when Gencer Hüdayioğlu came free, but Boğaç İley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kürşat Veysel struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Fernanco Muslera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Küçükdere SK. Nazmi Perkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Emotep SK's Sezen Erencan was substituted for Ali Atıf Rasi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brayden McPaul in the 87th minute of play forced Küçükdere SK's goalkeeper Boğaç İley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Olaf Sroki came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Küçükdere SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olaf Sroki couldn't finish the play. Emotep SK's Salih Çapan was substituted for Gencer Hüdayioğlu. Songurbey Saruca hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Hasan Hüseyin Başol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boğaç İley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Küçükdere SK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
