Cláudio-André Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Ansoldi in the 18th minute of the match. Cláudio-André Taffarel came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by FC UGNINIAI's Alberto Ansoldi. But to his dismay, Alberto Ansoldi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 21 minutes into the game, when Rodion Tsernienko put in a rough tackle. Rodion Tsernienko hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Ogün Özerdinc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ildefonso Niguel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 30th minute, Isidoro Martin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ildefonso Niguel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bedih İskenderoğlu in the 31st minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Eugenio Oliverios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC UGNINIAI's Ildefonso Niguel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fikret Uluğ in the 36th minute of play. Alberto Ansoldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio-André Taffarel having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugenio Oliverios in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cláudio-André Taffarel saved Van Spor from getting behind. 43 minutes into the match, Bedih İskenderoğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ildefonso Niguel. FC UGNINIAI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bedih İskenderoğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When Fikret Uluğ came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Van Spor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fikret Uluğ couldn't finish the play. Ildefonso Niguel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bedih İskenderoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aras Domarkas to strike the kick off in the second half. Van Spor's Cláudio-André Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aras Domarkas in the 51st minute of play. Fikret Uluğ showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Cláudio-André Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Oliverios, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Froilan Licerio during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC UGNINIAI's Froilan Licerio got a free kick in the 75th minute. FC UGNINIAI's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Fikret Uluğ scored to the left of an out of position Ildefonso Niguel, making the score, 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bedih İskenderoğlu in the 85th minute of play forced FC UGNINIAI's goalkeeper Ildefonso Niguel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, FC UGNINIAI's Ildefonso Niguel got control of the ball when Fikret Uluğ tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Van Spor booed when FC UGNINIAI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Licerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, FC UGNINIAI's goal looked a bit too open when Bedih İskenderoğlu came free, but Ildefonso Niguel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ildefonso Niguel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fikret Uluğ in the 94th minute. If Eugenio Oliverios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
