A throw-in in the 21st minute of the game was made by Yuan Yuan Hong with Andrzej Zapolski as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 22nd match minute, Karapinar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Baki Yamaç to maneuver through the defense. Karapinar's Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrzej Zapolski in the 30th minute of play. If Estevão Benevides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Karapinar's zone, Andrzej Zapolski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel came out of the goal and Andrzej Zapolski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thad Castle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arif Nihat Yıldıray read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Karapinar's zone, Andrzej Zapolski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel came out of the goal and Andrzej Zapolski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 45 minutes, Ahmet Baki Yamaç mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karapinar and the Estación Q. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Karapinar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Baki Yamaç to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Thad Castle made the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Baki Yamaç made in the 58th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Thad Castle immediately put the ball in play. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Estación Q.'s goalkeeper Arif Nihat Yıldıray, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Thad Castle notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Estación Q.'s Arif Nihat Yıldıray. Arif Nihat Yıldıray was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benicio Beliran in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerd-Peter Meiswinkel saved Karapinar from getting behind.
